Group Info

This group focuses art and photography on domesticated animals, such as dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, etc. Occasionally skunks, deer, etc are permitted, yet tigers or whales, though we love them very much, are restricted to be posted here. Thank you for dropping by :)

Wow...nearly two years and finally I am posting an update!

Please excuse me if some of your submissions expire! My life is so hectic and considering I used to be on the computer 6-7 hours a day and now I rarely get on for 1 hour a week.

With that said, I will try to remember to check up on the group every day but nothing is guaranteed.

I really enjoy seeing all of the submissions that are sent in and I am so glad that you all are keeping this group alive :)

Love Always,

Kit <3

:pride: :iconfuzzlekitty: :pride: UPDATED: 5/8/11

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm the new founder and I'm trying to keep this group as updated as possible! I've added a Literature section as well as Rainbow Bridge. Starting in June I'll announce the "Breed of the Month" in the journal section and at the moment I'm thinking of new contest ideas. Be ready for a bunch of new and fun stuff coming up :icongrin--plz:

I'm just going to put the random facts right here for now until we get something new up :B

FACT #4: ;) Many hamsters only blink one eye at a time ;)

FACT #5:  Dogs have about 100 different facial expressions, most of them made with the ears

FACT #6: :eyepopping: A cat sees about six times better than a human at night because of the tapetum lucidum , a layer of extra reflecting cells which absorb light :eyepopping:

FACT #7: :aww: More than 5 million puppies are born in the United States each year :aww:

FACT #8: :yum: Rabbits love licorice :yum:

FACT #9: :bounce: Greyhounds can jump a large distance of 27 feet :bounce:

I have a lot of cute pictures to share! Though I have a question. ...I have a picture of my cat and my dog together. What folder would I put that in?
